Friendship Games 2015
The 4th Friendship Games for Special Needs Judoka (SN) were hosted over the October long weekend by Lismore PCYC. The concept of the Friendship was developed by Paul Reeves in Adelaide and is an exceptional event for like minded judoka to get together for shiai and social activities.
The Friendship Games format is for skill based learning on the Saturday morning, a competition on the Saturday afternoon, social function on the Saturday evening and an active leisure pursuit on the Sunday. This year the judoka participated in Circus Skills & Acrobatics.
The Friendship Games are inspirational to all mainstream judoka who are privileged enough to witness the courage, determination and friendly spirit displayed by all competitors. Thanks to Alan Foley & his crew of volunteers for hosting another great Friendship Games.
