At the Judo Australia (JA) Annual General Meeting held on Saturday the 20th October, Director Neville Sharpe stepped down following a successful and progressive 4 years on the Board and a cumulative total of 33 years’ service to Judo in Australia. JA would like to thank Neville for his significant contribution to our sport over many decades.
Congratulations to Simon Read, former Judo WA President, who was elected unopposed to fill the vacant position on the JA Board. Director Angela Deacon was also re-elected unopposed for another 3 year term.
The new JA Board is excited to continue building on the positive progress JA has made in recent years and further grow and develop the sport of Judo in Australia.
