The 2026 Oceania Judo Championships will take place in Melbourne over the weekend of April 18 and 19 at the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre, Albert Park, Victoria.

This peak event marks the return of a standalone Continental Championship for the Oceania region after several years of a joint championship with the Pan-American Judo Federation. Members of the Oceania Judo Union include judo organisations from Australia, New Zealand, America Samoa, Cook Islands, Fiji, French Polynesia, Guam, Kiribati, Marshall Islands, Nauru, New Caledonia, Niue, Norfolk Island, Northern Marianas, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tonga, and Vanuatu.

The Oceania Judo Union invites Cadets, Juniors and Senior athletes representing their member countries to Melbourne to battle for international ranking points and Continental honours.

Cadet and Junior competition will take place on April 18, with Seniors taking to the mat on April 19.  An international training camp will precede the event, running at the National Performance Centre (also in Albert Park) from Monday, April 13.
