Judo Australia International Training Camp, Melbourne

Eligible judo athletes are invited to join an International Training Camp led by coaches from Australia’s national coaching team.

Australia’s top judo athletes, such as Tinka Easton, pictured, will be looking for training partners at the Judo Australia International Training Camp this April.

Taking place at the National Performance Centre in Albert Park from Monday April 13 to Thursday April 16, immediately following the Melbourne International Open, the camp is compulsory for Australia’s Development Squad and Categorised Athletes.

Training will be pitched at an international high performance level in preparation for the Oceania Continental Championship taking place in Melbourne the following weekend.

Eligible athletes will be aged 15 or over (Cadet, Junior and Senior), a minimum blue belt and above, and have won a minimum of two medals at key NES events in the past 12 months.  International players need to be able to show comparable results in non-Australian competitions.

Attendance at the four-day camp is $50 for invited guests who are not Categorised Athletes or members of the Judo Australia Development Squads.  REGISTER NOW AT REVSPORT.

Please note: Accommodation is NOT included, and all athletes will need to organise their own accommodation and transport to the NPC each day.
