Two major competitions and an international training camp will bring judoka from around Australia and overseas to Melbourne next month. First cab off the rank is round three in the National Event series, the Melbourne International Open, with competitor registration now open via Judo Manager.
Taking place at the Broadmeadows Aquatic and Leisure Centre from April 10 to 12, the Melbourne International Open program is available for download HERE. Players should register via Judo Manager before March 21 to take advantage of the earlybird rates, with late registrations accepted up until April 3rd.

This third round in the National Event Series will take place as international judoka arrive in Melbourne for our Continental championships the following weekend, with many looking to start their warm up with the MIO and the International Training camp to follow. Competition will be fierce and the atmosphere unbeatable!
The Judo Australia International Training Camp will take place at the National Performance Centre, Albert Park, from April 13-16, with elite-level training opportunities available for eligible athletes (aged above 15 years, minimum blue bet, having won a minimum or two medals at key NES events in the past 12 months, or comparable international results.)
The four day camp, led by the National Coaching Team, will cost just $50 (REGISTER NOW) but this is a training-only fee and does not include accommodation or transfers.
The final event in April is selection-only, with Oceania’s top judoka fighting it out for Continental honours. In the showcase Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre, the Oceania Judo Championships will take offer a feast of top-level judo over the weekend of April 18 & 19.
