An invitation – CombatAus National Performance Centre Information Session

Members of Judo Australia, n nThe Combat Institute of Australia (CombatAUS), Australian Judo’s high-performance partner, will be holding an information session regarding full-time places for the National Performance Centre in 2024.nnThe NPC focus is developing world-class athletes capable of winning medals at world-leading competitions, but the NPC also supports the development of junior athletes through its engagement with Australian Judo’s Performance Pathway Program.n nThis is a great opportunity for athletes considering joining the NPC in 2024 or beyond, along with their coach and parents, to learn about the NPC and its links to Judo’s high-performance program.n nThe information session will run online on Wednesday September 20th, 2023 from 7.30pm – 8.30pm AEST.

Categorised athletes and Judo Australia Cadet, Junior and Under 23 Development Team athletes can apply for full-time training places at the NPC.

The session will provide the opportunity for athletes, coaches and parents to ask questions to better understand what the NPC is, what’s available to athletes and the expectations of being an NPC full-time athlete. Background information about the NPC, plus FAQs, can be found here.
