At the Judo Australia (JA) Annual General Meeting held on Saturday the 19th October, Director Shannon Byrne stepped down following a successful and progressive 3 years on the Board. JA would like to thank Shannon for her significant contribution to our sport during her term.
Congratulations to Lindsay Clement-Meehan, who was elected to fill the vacant position on the JA Board. Lindsay has a strong professional background in strategic communications, media engagement and public relations and will play a major role in helping JA deliver on its objectives under the Profile pillar of our 2019-2022 Strategic Plan.
The new JA Board is excited to continue building on the positive progress JA has made in recent years and further grow and develop the sport of Judo in Australia.
