Free online Coaching webinars from March 26! Register now with the ASC

The Australian Sports Commission kicks off a series of six free webinars about coaching on March 26 - don't miss out!


The first module - What is the Modern Approach to Coaching - features Dr Will Vickery, the Senior Coaching Advisor ASC, with Greg Fergus of Rugby Victoria and Mel Hitchen-Haw of the Mornington Yacht Club discussing the new challenges to being a coach, and how best to approach them. Taking place from 5.30pm-6.30pm EDST, registration is essential. REGISTER.


On April 7th, (2-3pm EST) the topic will be Developing Thinking Participants, with Dr Shane Pill of Flinders University, and Jess Whitford of Netball Queensland. REGISTER.


On May 7th, Applying the Modern Coaching Approach (5.30pm-6.30pm EST), features Chava Sobrino (Head Diving Coach for the NSWIS) and Paris Olympic diver Ellie Cole. REGISTER.


On May 21st, Coaching Considerations for Neurodiverse Participants is lead by the ASC with Dr Chris Edwards and Dr Tom Tutton, both from Autism Spectrum Australia, and Sharon Deans from Surf Life Saving Australia. (5.30pm-6.30pm EST). REGISTER.


June 2nd moves to Coaching Mentors in Community Sport, with Julia Lawrence (Senior Coaching Advisor, ASC) and Kym Laube (of the South Australian National Football League.) 5.30pm - 6.30pm EST. REGISTER.


The series concludes on June 17th (5.30pm-6.30pm EST) by throwing it over to the participants in Q&A about the Modern Approach, with Dr Alex Lascu from the Queensland Academy of Sport) and Jim McKay from the International Rugby Academy of Australia. REGISTER.
