2025 KATA WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS
Paris, France - November 3-9 2025
​​​The legendary capital of France hosts two major World Championships in Judo this November - first, the Veterans World Championship from November 3, and then the Kata World Championships over the weekend of November 8 & 9.

​​The combined event will attract competitors from around the world to Paris with EOIs now open for athletes who wish to represent Australia in these celebrated events.

​To represent Australia, players must be an Australian citizen with a current Australian passport (or be authorised by the IJF to compete for Australia.) You must hold a valid IJF ID Card (either Open or Veterans) and be financial member of Judo Australia/its affiliates. We require that you be in good standing with Judo Australia.
​
To represent Australia at the Veterans World Judo Championships, please complete the following expression of interest:

Both events are self-funded and athletes will need to cover 100% of their own costs, including flights, official accommodation, tournament entry and travel insurance. Athletes are asked to organise their own flights and accommodation (see the Event Outline for accomodation options.) ​

a two-day intensive designed to ready players for the
Veterans World Championships in Paris.
